Configuring Email account in windows OS using the Microsoft Outlook client application

•    For the users who using windows 7, 8, and 10.  Please follow the below procedure.
•    Click start >  select control panel icon
•   In control panel select > click mail settings icon

• Click the show profile button

• Now the mail setup dialogue box will appear.

1 > Click Add Button to create new profile.

2 > Enter the new Email account user name in the profile Name tab

3 > Click OK to create a new profile.

4 > Select the option prompt for a profile to be used option.

                                           I.            Note if you have an existing email account you must select the above option 4

                                        II.            If you don’t have the old profile and if this is a first time that you are configuring new email, select                                   the option Always use this profile option.

5 > Click ok button

Now are Account Setup wizard will appear

•   Select the option manual setup or additional server types
•  Click > Next button

Select the type of account type that you needed to be configure either POP or IMAP.

•   Click the next button

•   1 > Enter the user information

1. Your Name
2. Email Address

•   2 >  Server Information

1. Account Type: POP/IMAP
2. Incoming mail server: mail.sageit.me
3. Outgoing mail server(SMTP): mail.sageit.me

•   3 > Logon Information

1. User Name
2. Password

•   4 > click More Settings button for additional server settings.

> In the Outgoing Server Tab

>Check the option My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

•   Click on advanced TAB now
•   In the advanced tab select the incoming and as well as the outgoing port number

Incoming server (POP3): 110

Outgoing server (SMTP): 25 or 587

•   Click ok button
• Now click Next button to check the test mail process

•   Finally click close button and select next button

•   Click finish button to complete the process
•   Open your outlook email client application

• Select the name of the profile you need to open and click OK

•   Now you will get a Test mail from the Microsoft outlook if you configured your email account successfully.
